Road Traffic (Drivers' Licences) Amendment

Regulations 2004

Made by the deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Drivers'

2.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Road Traffic
(Drivers' Licences) Regulations 1975*.

3.             Regulation 9 amended

Regulation 9 is amended by deleting an amount- and inserting

instead —
" a duplicate licence fee "

4.             Regulation 9AA inserted

After regulation 9 the following regulation is inserted —

9AA. Duplicate licence fee exemption in particular cases

The Director General may, in a particular case, exempt a person from the requirement to pay the duplicate licence fee that would otherwise be payable under regulation 9 if the Director General is satisfied that the licence was stolen.
