ROAD TRAFFIC (DRIVERS' LICENCES) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1998

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
Citation
1. These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Drivers' Licences) Amendment

Regulations 1998.

Commencement
2. These regulations come into operation on 1 July 1998.

Principal regulations

3. In these regulations the Road Traffic (Drivers'Licences) Regulations 1975* are referred

to as the principal regulations.

Regulation 13 amended

4. Regulation 13 of the principal regulations is amended —

(a)	by deleting the penalty at the foot of subregulation (1) and substituting the
following — " Penalty: Two penalty units (2 PU) "; and
(b)	by deleting the penalty at the foot of subregulation (3) and substituting the
following — " Penalty: One penalty unit (1 PU) ".

Regulation 14A amended

5. Regulation 14A of the principal regulations is amended —

(a)	in item 1 (a) by deleting "46.00" and "71.00" and substituting respectively the
following — " 46.30 " and" 80.30 ";
(b)	in item 1 (b) by deleting "36.00" and "61.00" and substituting respectively the
following — " 36.20 " and" 70.20 "; and
(c)	in item 2 by deleting "21.50" and substituting the following —

" 21.60 ".

Regulation 15 amended
6. Regulation 15 (2) of the principal regulations is amended by deleting "$10.25" and
"820.50" and substituting respectively the following —
" $15.00 " and " $30.00 ".
