Road Traffic Code Amendment Regulations

(No. 3) 2000

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic Code
Amendment Regulations (No. 3) 2000.

2.            The regulations amended

defined in the Young Offenders Act 1994, s.3);

The amendments in these regulations are to the Road Traffic
Code 1975*.

3.            Regulation 403 amended

Regulation 403 is amended as follows:

(a) in paragraph (c) by deleting "vehicle;" and inserting —

vehicle, or being used to transport a prisoner (as
defined in the Prisons Act 1981, s.3) or a detainee (as

(b) in paragraph (d) by deleting "vehicle." and inserting —

G.4

4.            Regulation 404 amended

Regulation 404 is amended by deleting "vehicle." and inserting —

G.4

vehicle, or is being used to transport a prisoner (as
defined in the Prisons Act 1981, s.3) or a detainee (as

defined in the Young Offenders Act 1994, s.3).
