Road Traffic (Charges and Fees) Amendment

Regulations (No. 2) 2013

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Road Traffic (Charges and Fees)
Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2013.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Road Traffic (Charges and Fees)
Regulations 2006.

4.             Regulation 42A inserted

After regulation 41 insert:

42A.	Exemption from fee for taking or resitting theory test
(1)	A person is not required to pay the fee, set out in Schedule 2 items 1A and 1B, to take or resit a theory

test if the person or body administering the test is

specified in a notice published under subregulation (2).

(2)	The Director General may, by notice published in the
Gazette —

(a)	specify a person or body for the purposes of subregulation (1); and
(b)	amend or revoke a notice under this subregulation.

(3) A person or body may be specified in a notice under
subregulation (2) only if the person or body
administers theory tests on behalf of the Director
General under an agreement made under section 6B of
the Act.
