Road Traffic (Charges and Fees) Amendment

Regulations (No. 10) 2012

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.              Citation

These regulations are the Road Traffic (Charges and Fees)

Ainendinent Regulations 'No. 10) 2012.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as tollows -

(a) regulations I and 2 on the day onwhich these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations on the day after that day.

3.              Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Road Traffic (Charges and Fees)

Regulations 2006.

4.             Regulation 9AA inserted

After regulation 8 insert:

the maximum amount of the carer's payment.

9AA. Vehicles owned by full-time carers

(1)	In subregulation (2) Ceiitrelink means the Commonwealth agency known as Centrelink at the time the Road Traffic (Charges and
Fees) Amendment Regulations (No. 10) 2012
regulation 4 comes into operation.
(2)	A vehicle licence charge is not payable for a vehicle if the Director General is satisfied that the vehicle is owned by a person ho is receiving from Centrelink

5.              Regulation 43 amended

(1)	In regulation 43(1)(b) delete "card." and insert:
card; or
(2)	After ietulation 43(1)(b) insert:

(c) the person is the holder of either of the folloing cards issued by the Department of Veterans Aif airs of the Commonwealth -

(i)      Repatriated Health Card - Totally & Permanently Impaired;

(ii) Repatriated Health Card - Extreme
Disablement Adjustment.

Note: The heading to amended regulation 43 is to read:

Fee exemption for aged pensioners and certain veterans.
