(2) Delete Schedule 2 item 12 and insert:

12.           :i parking bay for use without charge

(a.) located on the site of-

(i)         a place of public worship of a religious body ; or

(ii)         a school that is formally affiliated with n religious body:

and
(h)

set aside during the hours of 8.00 a.n1. to being used by a person who, throughout the period the vehicle is parked in the bay -

(i)

is employed at the place of public worship or the school; or

(ii)

does voluntary work at or mainly at the place of public worship or the school; or

(iii)

' isits the place of public worsh ip or the school fhr religious purposes or in relation to parish affairsofthe religious body : or

(iv) visits the school for school-related
purposes nil

Road Traffic (Authorisation to Drive) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2012

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Road Traffic (Authorisation to Drive)

?. Commencement
These regulations come into operation as follows -
(a) regulations I and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)
the rest of the regulations on 12 November 2012.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Road Traffic (Authorisation to
Drive) Regulations 2008.

4.             Regulation 16 amended

(1) In regulation 16(2):

(a) before paragraph (a) insert:

(aa) driving an appropriate vehicle on a road for at
least 25 hours in the course of instruction b y -
(i)

a person who holds a licence issued Ins iruc • tors Act 1963; or

(ii)      a person who may give driving instruction under regulation 45(2).

and making a record of that dI i\ ing. signed by
the person w ho gave the instruction, in a

logbook approved by the Director General; and

(b) in paragraph (a) delete "after reaching" and insert:

after recording that driving, and havin g, reached

(2) After regulation 1 6(4) insert:

(5) Suhretulation (2)(aa) has effect onl y in relation to a
person rho applies fora driver's licence on or after the
day on which the Road Traffic (Allhorisation to Drive)
Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2012 regulation 4(1)
comes into operation.
