Road Traffic (Authorisation to Drive)

Amendment Regulations 2014

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Road Traffic (Authorisation to Drive) Amendment Regulations 2014.
2.	Commencement These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2— on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.            Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Road Traffic (Authorisation to
Drive) Regulations 2008.

4.            Regulation 11 amended

(1) Before regulation 11(1) insert:

(1A) In this regulation —

child care service means —

service; or
(a)	any education and care service as defined in the Education and Care Services National Law (Western Australia) section 5(1); or
(b)	any child care service as defined in the Child Care Services Act 2007 section 4;

taxi has the meaning given in regulation 12(3).

(2) Delete regulation 11(2).

(3) Delete regulation 11(3)(c) and (d) and insert:

(c) the person driving the vehicle is doing so in the

course of —

(i) providing or operating a child care

(ii) being employed in the provision or

operation of a child care service.
