Road Traffic (Authorisation to Drive)

Amendment Regulations 2012

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Road Traffic (Authorisation to Drive)
Amendment Regulations 2012.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on 7 April 2012.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Road Traffic (Authorisation to
Drive) Regulations 2008.

4.             Regulation 19 amended

(1)

In regulation 19(1) delete “75” and insert:

Delete regulation 19(3) and insert:

(3)	The applicant has to have demonstrated that ability within one year before the grant of the licence.
Note:	The heading to amended regulation 19 is to read:

Drivers who are 80 years of age or more

5.             Regulation 37 amended

In regulation 37(6) delete “71” and insert:
