Made under the Road Traffic Amendment (Impaired Driving and

Penalties) Act 2020 section 2(1)(b) by the Governor in Executive

Council.

1.            Citation

This proclamation is the Road Traffic Amendment (Impaired

Driving and Penalties) Act 2020 Commencement
Proclamation 2021.

2.             Commencement

The following provisions of the Road Traffic Amendment

section 13 comes into operation.

(Impaired Driving and Penalties) Act 2020 come into operation

on! July 2021 —

(a)	sections 4 to 23, 25, 27 and 28;
(b)	section 29(1) to (9) and (11);
(c)	sections 30 to 32, 34 to 38,40 and 41;
(d)	Part 3.

Notes: This proclamation brings into operation the remainder of the Road Traffic

Amendment (Impaired Driving and Penalties) Act 2020.

The Attorney General Regulations Amendment (Road Traffic)

Regulations 2021, other than Part 1, comes into operation on the day on which

the Road Traffic Amendment (Impaired Driving and Penalties) Act 2020

The Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Amendment Regulations 2021

regulations 4, 5(2) and (3), 6 and 7 come into operation on the day on which
the Road Traffic Amendment (Impaired Driving and Penalties) Act 2020
section 37 comes into operation.

The Road Safety Regulations Amendment and Repeal Regulations 2021, other than Part 1, come into operation on the day on which the Road Traffic

Amendment (Impaired Driving and Penalties) Act 2020 section 25 comes into

operation.

The Road Traffic (Administration) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2021, other

than regulations 1 and 2, come into operation on the day on which the Road

Traffic Amendment (Impaired Driving and Penalties) Act 2020 section 4 comes

into operation.

The Transport Regulations Amendment (Road Traffic) Regulations 2021, other than Part 1, come into operation on the day on which the Road Traffic

Amendment (Impaired Driving and Penalties) Act 2020 section 6 comes into

operation.
