Made under the Road Traffic Amendment (Immobilisation, Towing and

Detention of Vehicles) Act 2020 section 2(1)(b) by the Governor in

Executive Council.

1.            Citation

This proclamation is the Road Traffic Amendment

(Immobilisation, Towing and Detention of Vehicles) Act 2020
Commencement Proclamation 2020.

2.             Commencement of Act

The Road Traffic Amendment (Immobilisation, Towing and

Act 2020 section 6 comes into operation.

Detention of Vehicles) Act 2020, other than Part 1, comes into

operation on 14 December 2020.

Note: The Road Traffic (Towing of Vehicles) Regulations 2020, other than Part 1

(other than regulations 3 and 4), come into operation on the day on which the

Road Traffic Amendment (Immobilisation, Towing and Detention of Vehicles)

Act 2020 section 5 comes into operation.

The Transport Regulations Amendment (Road Traffic) Regulations

(No. 2) 2020, other than Part 1, come into operation on the day on which the

Road Traffic Amendment (Immobilisation, Towing and Detention of Vehicles)
