AN ACT to amend the Road Traffic Act 1974-1981.
[Assented to 30 October 1981.]
BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Commence-
| ment. | 2. This Act shall come into operation on the day the Transport Amendment Act (No. 3) 1981 comes into operation. |
| Section 5 |
| amended. | 3. Section 5 of the principal Act is amended by |
deleting the definition of "taxi-car".
Section 17
| repealed. | 4. Section 17 of the principal Act is repealed. |
| Section 82 | |
| amended. | 5. Section 82 (1) of the principal Act is |
amended
| (a) | by deleting "taxi-car licence granted under section 17 or any"; and |
| (b) | by deleting "taxi-car or" wherever occur- ring. |
Section 111
| amended. | 6. Section 111 of the principal Act is amended |
| (a) | in subsection (2), by deleting paragraph (e); and |
| (b) | by repealing subsections (3), (4) and (5). |
