AN ACT to amend the Road Traffic Act 1974-1982.

[Assented to 24 September 1982.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent

Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the

same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Road Traffic snaggitttlieon

Amendment Act 1982.

(2) In this Act the Road Traffic Act 1974-1982 is lalagteeddAs July 1980

referred to as the principal Act.

Commence-

ment.	2. The provisions of this Act shall come into operation on such day or days as is or are respectively fixed by proclamation.
Section 19

amended. 3. Section 19 of the principal Act is amended in

subsection (2)-

(a) by inserting after "The" the following-

" prescribed " ; and

(b) by deleting "specified in Part II of the Second Schedule".

Section 47	4. Section 47 of the principal Act is amended in subsection (1) by deleting "fee otherwise payable under Part IV of the Second Schedule" and substituting the following-
amended.

section 52 "

Section 52	5. Section 52 of the principal Act is amended by
amended.

repealing subsection (1) and substituting the follow-

ing subsection

(1) There shall be payable on the issue, and renewal, of a driver's licence such fee as is prescribed. " .

Schedule 6. The Second Schedule to the principal Act is

amended. amended

(a) by repealing Part II; and

(b) by repealing Part IV.
