AN ACT to amend the Road Traffic Act 1974-1980.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Transitions/ 2. The principal Act as in force immediately before the coming into operation of this Act continues to apply in relation to

(a)	the issue of a driver's licence if that licence is issued before 1 October 1981; and
(b)	the renewal of a driver's licence if that licence expires before 30 September 1981 and the renewal is effected on or before that date.

Section 47

amended. 3. Section 47 of the principal Act is amended in

subsection (1) by deleting "the sum of four dollars"

and substituting the following-

" half " .

Schedule 4. The Second Schedule to the principal Act is
