Road Safety (Vehicles) (Heavy Vehicles Fees Amendment) Regulations 2007

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 1999 to maintain the existing fees for registration of heavy vehicles for a further 10 months until 1 July 2008.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 September 2007.

4Fees for registration and renewal of heavy vehicles

In regulation 235(1) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 1999[1], for "1 September 2007" substitute "1 July 2008".
