Road Safety (Vehicles) Amendment (West Gate Tunnel) Regulations 2025

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy, with the advice of the Executive Council, makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2021 as a consequence of the enactment of the West Gate Tunnel (Truck Bans and Traffic Management) Act 2019.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3Schedule 6 amended

In clause 41 of Schedule 6 to the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2021[1]—

(a)in paragraph (d), for "2004." substitute "2004;";

(b)after paragraph (d) insert—

"(e)the West Gate Tunnel tollway within the meaning of section 3 of the West Gate Tunnel (Truck Bans and Traffic Management) Act 2019.".
