Road Safety Road Rules Further Amendment Rules 2025

The Governor in Council makes the following Rules:

1Objective

The objective of these Rules is to amend the Road Safety Road Rules 2017 in relation to approaching and passing stationary or slow-moving vehicles.

2Authorising provision

These Rules are made under section 95D of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3Commencement

These Rules come into operation on 1 July 2025.

4Rule 79A amended

In rule 79A(6) of the Road Safety Road Rules 2017[1], for "Rules." substitute "Rules, other than rules 305 and 306.".
