Road Safety Road Rules Further Amendment Rules 2019

The Governor in Council makes the following Rules:

1Objective

The objective of these Rules is to amend the Road Safety Road Rules 2017 as a consequence of the enactment of the Transport Legislation Amendment Act 2019.

2Authorising provision

These Rules are made under section 95D of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3Commencement

These Rules come into operation on 1 January 2020.

4Consequential amendments—Schedule 1

A provision of the Road Safety Road Rules 2017[1] specified in Schedule 1 is amended as set out in that Schedule.
