Regulations 2000

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to increase the infringement penalty for stopping in a loading zone from $60 to $100.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3. Loading zone infringement penalty

In Schedule 3 to the Road Safety (General)

Regulations 19991—

(a) omit clause 4(a)(iii); and

Road Safety (General) (Loading Zone Penalty) Regulations
2000
