Infringement) Regulations 2002

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's Deputy with the
advice of the Executive Council makes the following
Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the provide for new traffic infringement notices in relation to certain drink-driving offences (as a consequence of amendments made to the Road Safety Act 1986 by the Road Safety (Further Amendment) Act 2001).

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3. Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on
1 March 2002.

4. Amendment of Schedule 4

In Schedule 4 to the Road Safety (General) substitute—

"1993 Drive or be in charge RSA 49 300

of motor vehicle with blood alcohol level of

RSA 52 (zero blood
alcohol) does not apply
to the person
