Road Safety Act 1986
Road Safety (General) and (Vehicles) Amendment Regulations 2022
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objectives
The objectives of these Regulations are—
(a)to amend the Road Safety (General) Regulations 2019—
(i)to include the camera system known as the Redflex Halo as a prescribed road safety camera; and
(ii)to make a minor and technical amendment; and
(b)to amend the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2021 to make a minor and technical amendment.
2Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.
3Definitions
In regulation 5 of the Road Safety (General) Regulations 2019[1], in the definition of fixed digital RSC, for "(j) or (l)" substitute "(j), (l) or (n)".
4Prescribed road safety cameras
In regulation 32 of the Road Safety (General) Regulations 2019—
(a)in paragraph (m), for "Mobile." substitute "Mobile;";
(b)after paragraph (m) insert—
"(n)the camera system known as the Redflex Halo.".
5Schedule 7—Traffic infringements
In item 349 in the table in Schedule 7 to the Road Safety (General) Regulations 2019, for "electronic scooter" substitute "electric scooter".
6Suspension of club permit
In regulation 191(1)(f) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2021[2], for "regulation 192" substitute "regulation 190(1)".
