2002

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objectives

The objectives of these Regulations are to amend

the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999

(a)

to amend the demerit points which apply to certain speeding offences; and

(b)

to provide for demerit points to be incurred for other offences.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3. Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on
15 December 2002.

4. Substitution of Table 301

In regulation 301 of the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 19991 for Table 301 substitute—
