Road Safety (Drivers) and (Vehicles) Amendment (Fees) Regulations 2015

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

Part 1—Preliminary

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 2009 and the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2009 to increase certain fees payable under the Road Safety Act 1986.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2015.

Part 2—Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 2009

4Search and extract fees

In Schedule 6 to the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 2009[1]—

(a)in item 1, for "$8.90" substitute "$9.10";

(b)in item 2, for "$8.90" substitute "$9.10";

(c)in item 4, for "$8.90" substitute "$9.10";

(d)in item 5(a), for "$8.90" substitute "$9.10".

Part 3—Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2009

5Concessional fees for registration and renewal of registration

In the Table in Schedule 3 to the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2009[2], in Column 2 of item 2, for "$8.40" substitute "$8.60".

6Miscellaneous fees

In Schedule 5 to the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2009—

(a)in Column 4 of item 11, for "$3.60" substitute "$3.70";

(b)in Column 4 of item 13(d), for "$6.00" substitute "$6.10".

7Search and extract fees

In Schedule 6 to the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2009—

(a)in item 1, for "$8.90" substitute "$9.10";

(b)in item 2, for "$8.90" substitute "$9.10";

(c)in item 4, for "$8.90" substitute "$9.10";
