Road Safety (Automated Vehicles), (Drivers), (General), (Traffic Management) and (Vehicles) Amendment Regulations 2019
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the following Regulations as a consequence of the enactment of the Transport Legislation Amendment Act 2019—
(a)the Road Safety (Automated Vehicles) Regulations 2018;
(b)the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 2019;
(c)the Road Safety (General) Regulations 2019;
(d)the Road Safety (Traffic Management) Regulations 2019;
(e)the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 2009.
2Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.
3Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2020.
4Consequential amendments—Schedule 1
A provision of the Road Safety (Automated Vehicles) Regulations 2018[1] specified in Schedule 1 is amended as set out in that Schedule.
5Consequential amendments—Schedule 2
A provision of the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 2019[2] specified in Schedule 2 is amended as set out in that Schedule.
6Consequential amendments—Schedule 3
A provision of the Road Safety (General) Regulations 2019[3] specified in Schedule 3 is amended as set out in that Schedule.
7New Part 11 inserted
After regulation 81 of the Road Safety (General) Regulations 2019 insert—
"Part 11—General
82Provisions under or for the purposes of which officers or employees of the Corporation may be appointed as authorised officers
For the purposes of section 105F(2) of the Act, the following provisions of the Act are prescribed—
