1 Name of Act

This Act is the Road Improvement (Special Funding) Further

Amendment Act 1995.

2 Commencement

This Act is taken to have commenced on 1 October 1995.

The Road Improvement (Special Funding) Act 1989 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

(Section 3)

[1]        Section 4 Increased petroleum licence fees

Omit “ 1September 1999” from section 4 (2G).

Insert instead “ l November 1995” .

Insert after section 4 (26):

(2H)

For the purposes of section 40 (Fees) of the Licensing Act, the prescribed proportion referred to in subsection (3) of that section is, in respect of a fee for a licence taking effect on or after 1 November 1995 and before 1 September 1999, increased:

(a)	from 9.92 per cent to 17.89 per cent in respect of motor spirit, and
(b)	from 16.52 per cent to 29.63 per cent in respect of diesel fuel.
