An Act to amend the Road Improvement (Special Funding) Act 1989 consequent on the enactment of the Business Franchise Licences (Petroleum Products) Amendment Act 1992. [Assented to 23 November 1992]

Road Improvement (Special Funding) Amendment Act I992 No. 75

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:

Short title

  1. This Act may be cited as the Road Improvement (Special Funding)

Amendment Act 1992.

Commencement

  1. This Act commences or is taken to have commenced on 1 October

1992.

Amendment of Road Improvement (Special Funding) Act 1989 NO.
95, s. 4 (Increased petroleum licence fees)

  1. Section 4 of the Road Improvement (Special Funding) Act 1989 is

amended:

(a)

by omitting from subsection (2A) the matter “1 September 1995" and by inserting instead the matter "1 November 1992”;

(b) by inserting after subsection (2D) the following subsection:

(2E) For the purposes of section 40 (Fees) of the Licensing Act, the prescribed proportion referred to in subsection (3) of that section is, in respect of a fee for a licence takingeffect on or after 1 November 1992 and before 1 September 1995, increased:

(a)

from 9.07 per cent to 16.34 per cent in respect of motor spirit; and

(b) from 15.1 per cent to 27.07 per cent in respect of diesel fuel.
