AN ACT to amend the Road Districts Act, 1919-1933.

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows:-

This Act may be cited as the Road DistrictsI t Amendment Act (No. 3), 1934, and shall be read as one with the Road Districts Act, 1919-1933 (consolidated), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act. 2..c Short title.

Section one hundred and sixty-two of the principal Act is amended by the insertion after subsection (27) of a further subsection, as follows: 102

(28) Establish or acquire by purchase or otherwise works or premises for the manufacture and supply of ice, and sell or supply ice for any lawful purpose to any person or local authority or to His Majesty's Govern- ment of the State or Commonwealth or any depart- ment or agency thereof : Provided that the powers conferred by subsection (28) of this section shall, until Parliament otherwise declares, be exercisable by Meekatharra District Road Board only.
