No. 24 of 1940.

AN ACT for the closure of certain Roads, and of

portions of certain Roads, and for other purposes.

[Assented to 29th November, 1940.1

RE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,

by and with the advice and consent of the Legis-

lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western

Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by

the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 This Act may be cited as the Road Closure Act, short title.

All that portion of Leeder street situate in the municipal district of Northam, lying between the south- western boundaries of lots 6 to 10, both inclusive, and the north-eastern boundaries of lots 11 to 15, both inclu- sive, in the subdivision of Northam lots 9 and 10, as shown on deposited Plan 783, in the Department of Land Titles, is hereby closed, all rights of way over the same shall cease on the passing of this Act, the land comprised therein is hereby revested in His Majesty the King as of his former estate, and may be disposed of by direct sale to the owner of land adjoining the same, as if such land had never been a public road or street or subject to any rights of way thereover.

All that portion of Bendigo street extending east from the
