AN ACT for the closure of certain roads and of por-

tions of certain roads ; and for other purposes.

[Assented to 16th December, 1939.]

B1 it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title. 1. This Act may be cited as the Road Closure Act,

1939.

(b)	that portion lying between the production south- westward of the south-eastern side of Thornton street and the northern side of Arthur road

are hereby closed, and all rights-of-way over the same

shall cease on the passing of this Act.

7. All those portions of the roads hereinafter limn- Closure of

is to say—

(a) that portion of Hamersley road from the southern

alignment of a road at the north-eastern corner of Wagin lot 826 to the northern alignment of Taylor road; and

(b) that portion of Cowcher road from Hamersley

road to Barron road; and

(e) that portion of Spratt road from Hamersley road

to Barron road

are all, and each and every one of them, hereby elosed, and all rights-of-way over the said portions of the said

roads shall cease on the passing of this Act.

8. All those portions of Pembroke street, in the City pCologorie l oof f

of Perth, from the eastern alignment of Shakespeare Pembroke strect, in the

from the eastern alignment of Dunedin street to the western alignment of London street, are hereby closed, all rights-of-Bay over the same shall cease on the pass- ing of this Act, and the estate in fee simple of the land comprised in the portions of the said street so closed is hereby transferred to the city of Perth, and the Registrar of Titles is hereby authorised and directed to register such transfer accordingly.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

All that portion of Swan location 669 bounded by lines starting from the south-eastern corner of subdivisional lot 290 of aforesaid loca- tion as shown on L.T.O. plan 3642 and extending southerly 60 5/10 links to the north-eastern corner of lot 292; thence westerly 1 chain 92 1/10 links along part of the northern boundary of the latter lot; thence northerly 60 5/10 links to a point on the southern boundary of the said lot 290; and thence easterly 1 chain 92 1/10 links along the latter boundary to the starting point.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

All that portion of Woodman street bounded by lines starting front the south corner of Kalgoorlie town lot 2066 and extending 313 degrees 30 minutes 4 chains 90 links; thence 358 degrees 30 minutes 42 4/10 links to the south-eastern alignment of Piccadilly street; thence 223 degrees 30 minutes 1 chain; thence 178 degrees 30 minutes 42 4/10 links; thence 133 degrees 30 minutes 4 chains 60 links; thence 88 de- grees 30 minutes 42 4/10 links, and thence 43 degrees 30 minutes 70 links to the starting point.

All bearings being true or thereabouts and the measurements more
