AN ACT for the closure of certain Roads and of portions

of certain Roads.

[Assented to 4th January, 1935.]

DE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by

1 .) and with the advice and consent of the Legislative

Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Road Closure Act, 1934.

is hereby closed, and all rights-of-way over the same shall cease on the passing of this Act, and Itis Majesty may deal with the land comprised in such closed portion as if the same had never been a public street or subject to such rights.

All that portion of right-of-way in the municipal dis- trict of Kalgoorlie, described in Part H. of the Schedule to this Act, is hereby closed, and all rights-of-way over the same shall cease on the passing of this Act; and His Majesty may grant or dispose of the land comprised in such closed right- of-way without consideration to the owner for the time being of Kalgoorlie lot 3072 as if the same had never been a public right-of-way or subject to such rights.

B of Part III. of the Schedule to this Act shall, as from a date to be fixed by proclamation, be hereby closed, and as from and after such date all rights-of-way over the same shall cease, and His Majesty may deal with the land comprised in such closed portions as if the same had never been a public street or road or subject to such rights.

THE SCHEDULE.

PART I.

That portion of Falcon street, in the municipal district of Narrogin,

bounded by lines starting from the south-eastern corner of Narrogin town

lot 803 and extending 181 deg. 37 min. 30 1 ,7 links ; thence 271 dog. 37 min,

chains 25 links to the tangent point of a circular curve, the bearing and

distance of the radius whereof is 1 dog. 37 min. 50 links from said tangent

point ; thence by said circular curve generally north-north-westerly 581'a

links ; and thence 91 deg. 37 min. S chains 71 links to the starting point.

PART II.

All that portion of right-of-way situate in the municipal district of Kalgoorlie between Kalgoorlie lot 3026 and Kalgoorlie. lot 3072.

That portion of Morrison crescent, in the municipal district of Midland Junction, bounded by lines starting at a point on the northern alignment of main York road and situate 102 deg. 43 min. 3 chains 18 1-1T links from the junction of said alignment with the eastern alignment of Helena street and extending 78 deg. 33 min. 10. chains 50 links to the western boundary of reserve 45045 ; thence along said boundary 179 deg. 49 min. 25 1% links ; thence 25 deg. 33 min. 9 chains 89'17 links to the northern alignment of main York road aforesaid ; and thence along said alignment 282 deg. 43 min. 61 links to the starting point.

That portion of Morrison crescent, in the municipal district of Midland Junction, bounded by lines starting at a point on the northern alignment of main York road and situate 102 deg. 43 min. 5 chains 6215 links from the junction of said alignment with the eastern alignment of Helena street, and extending 78 deg. 33 min. S chains 7-A- links to the western boundary of reserve 45045 ; thence along said boundary 359 deg. 49 min. 51 links ; thence 25S deg. 33 min. S chains 6/b- links to the tangent point of a circular curve, the bearing and distance of the radius whereof is 168 dog. 33 min. and 2621,- links from said tangent point ; thence by said circular curve generally southerly 71-A- links to the starting point. All bearings being true or thereabouts and the measurements being more or less.
