AN ACT for the Closing of certain Roads and

Streets.

[Assented to 16th January, 1904.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by andLegislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this presentwith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as

follows :—

1. ALL rights-of-way on and over such roads and streets or Closure of certain portions of roads and streets as are described in the Schedule to this streets and roads. Act shall cease fiom the passing of this Act, and His Majesty may

deal with such roads and streets, or portions thereof, as if the same

had never been roads or streets or subject to such rights.

THE SCHEDULE.

IN THE TOWN OF ALBANY.

The whole of Day Street.

IN THE BAYLEY SUBURBAN AREA.

The whole of Bullarra, Union, Hanover, Torridge, and Innanaincka Streets.

IN THE TOWN OF BOULDER.

The whole of a Public Street, one chain wide, the Northern side of which starts on the West side of Wilson Street at a point 7 chains 43*, links South from the South-East corner of Boulder Town Lot 779, and extends 245° 21' to the East side of McLaren Street.

IN THE TOWNSITE OF BROOME.

All that portion of Carnarvon Street lying between the South side of Stewart

Street and the North side of Mary Street.

All that portion of Barker Street lying East of the East side of Hamersley

Street.

All that portion of Mary Street lying East of the Southerly production of

the East side of Broome Town Lot 148.

All that portion of Dampier Street lying South of the South side of Stewart

Street.

IN THE TOWN OF CLARENCE.

The whole of Marmion Road.

IN THE TOWN OF COLLIE.

The whole of a Public Road lying between the Westerly productions of the

Northern and Southern boundaries of Collie Town Lots 953 and 986 respectively.

All that portion of a Public Right-of-way, 25 links wide, extending along the

Northern boundaries of Collie Town Lots 481 to 484 inclusive.

IN THE TOWN OF DAY DAWN.

All that portion of Reid Street North-Westerly of the North-Western side

of Sephson Street.

IN THE FORREST SUBURBAN AREA.

The whole of Yilgarn Road and the whole of Gregory, Giles, Warburton,

Carnegie, and Austin Streets.

NEAR THE TOWN OF FREMANTLE.

The whole of Road No. 1497.

All that portion of a Road, one chain wide, from Fremantle to Clarence, the

Eastern side of which starts from the South-West corner of Cockburn Sound Location 5, and extends 141° 48' 19 chains 7 links ; thence 166° 8' 17 chains 9

links ; thence 180° 21' about 6 chains 40 links ; thence about 143° 20' about 6

chains 30 links ; and thence about 116° about 8 chains 50 links to the West side

of the main road from Fremantle to Rockingham.

IN THE TOWN OF GREENBUSHES.

All those portions of Public Streets bounded by lines starting from a point situate 151° 9' 37A links from the South corner of Greenbushes Town Lot 181, and extending 90° 3' 5 chains 99A links ; thence 331° 9' about 2 chains 50 links ; thence 134° 31' about 4 chains 60 links ; thence 270° 3' 7 chains 35 links ; thence 314° 31' 35A links ; and thence 331° 9' 85A links to the starting point.

IN THE TOWN OF GUILDFORD.

All that portion of a Public Street lying between the East side of North Street and the right bank of the Swan River, the North side of which is 75 links South of the South boundary of Guildford Town Lot 106, and the South side 75 links North of the North boundary of Lot 107,

IN THE TOWN OF KALGOORLIE.

All that portion of a Public Street bounded on the North-East and North- West by lines starting from a point situate 133° 28' 9 chains 55 links from the East corner of Kalgorlie Town Lot 27 and extending respectively 133° 28' 50 links and 223° 28' 11 chains 75 links ; the opposite boundaries being parallel and equal.

All those portions of public rights of way lying between Kalgoorlie Town Lots 1374 and R1024, and between Lots R 1025 and 81026.

IN THE TOWN OF KELMSCOTT.

All that portion of Ford Road bounded by lines starting from a point situate 1 chain 12-,'°0 links North and 3 chains 16 links 'West from the North-East corner of Kelmscott Suburban Lot 37, and extending 297' 39' 4 chains 16A, links ; thence 240° 24' 6 chains 27 i2b- links ; thence 272' 19' 94A, links ; thence 60° 24' 7 chains 34A, links ; thence 117° 39' 4 chains 54A links, and thence 219° 44' 51A- links to the starting point.

IN THE TOWN OF MECKERING.

All that portion of Brockman Street lying between the Northern side of Vanzetti Street and a line bearing 60° 15' from a point situate 153° 15' 1 chain 10 links from the East corner of Meckering Suburban Lot 12.

IN THE MELVILLE SUBURBAN AREA

All that portion of Hardman Road lying between the West side of Success Road and the East side of Brown Road.

IN THE TOWN OF MUNDAR/NG.

All that portion of Hodgson Street lying between the Southern side of Walker Street and the Northern side of Hartung Street.

IN THE TOWN OF NARROGIN.

The whole of Gladstones and George Streets.

IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH FREMANTLE.

The whole of Lilbnrn Road.

All that portion of De Lisle Street , South of the Southern side of Lukin

Street.

All that portion of Clifton Street South-Westerly of a line bearing about 295° 13' from the West corner of North Fremantle. Town Lot 1.

All that portion of River Street South of the Southern side of Lultin Street.
