thereof as follows :—

1. A full Account of the receipts and disbursements of the Account of O/aiuary

Ordinary Revenue for the year then last past including the <̂ osts

charges and expenses incident to the collection management and to be laid before tiie

receipts thereof shall be laid before the Legislative Council within •

fourteen days from the commencement of the Session and the said

Council shall refer such Account to a Select Committee.

2. I t shall be the duty of such Select Committee to audit Sciict Committee to

examine and report upon the said Account and they are hereby

empowered to call for vouchers and to examine witnesses touching the call fu vouciicrs ami

Committee shall order and direct.

be liable to fine or imprisonment at the discretion of such Court and any person wilfully and knowingly giving false evidence before such Committee or a Quorum thereof shall also be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof before the said Court shall sulfer the like pains and penalties as persons convicted of wilful and corrupt perjury.
