An Act for the auditing and regulating the E evence Audit.

Accounts of the Ordinary Eevenue of New South Wales. [Beserved—1th November, 1845.]

TTTIIEREAS it is expedient to make farther provision for the Preamble.

V V auditing and regulating the accounts of the expenditure of

the Ordinary Revenue of New South Wales including the costs charges and expenses incident to the collection management and receipt thereof Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of New South Wales with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof That a full account of the receipts and disbursements Account to be laid

of the Colonial Treasurer on account of the Ordinary Revenue for the referred to

year then last past shall be laid before the Legislative Council within Committee,

fourteen days from the commencement of the Session and that the

said Council shall refer such account to a Select Committee.

2. And be it enacted That it shall he the duty of such Select

Committee to audit examine and report upon the said account and	'
they are hereby empowered to call for vouchers and to examine witnesses touching the said account and all persons are hereby required to give such attendance and produce such vouchers and documents as the said Committee shall order and direct.

3. And be it declared and enacted That the said costs charges costs to be regulated

and expenses shall be regulated by such Acts as shall from time to by Appropriation

time be passed by the said Governor and Council for applying the	’
said Revenue to the service of the said Colony.
