These regulations may be cited as the Retirement Villages (Fees) Regulations 2017.

2—Commencement

These regulations will come into operation on 1 January 2018.

3—Interpretation

In these regulations—

Act means the Retirement Villages Act 2016.

4—Fees

Fees payable under the Act are set out in Schedule 1.

Application for exemption under section 5(2) of the Act

Notification of information required for register under section 13 of the Act in relation to a retirement village—

      •      if the retirement village comprises not more than 10 residences

      •      if the retirement village comprises more than 10 residences but not more than 50 residences

      •      if the retirement village comprises more than 50 residences but not more than 150 residences

$185.00

      •      if the retirement village comprises more than 150 residences but not more than 300 residences

      •      if the retirement village comprises more than 300 residences
