Retirement Villages Amendment

Regulations 2019

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Retirement Villages Amendment
Regulations 2019.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on 1 April 2019.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Retirement Villages
Regulations 1992.

4.             Regulation 4A amended

In regulation 4A in the definition of Code delete “Interim Code

of Practice for Retirement Villages (No. 2) 2018 set out in the

Fair Trading (Retirement Villages Interim Code) Regulations

(No. 2) 2018” and insert:

Interim Code of Practice for Retirement Villages 2019 set out in
the Fair Trading (Retirement Villages Interim Code)

5.             Schedule 1 Form 1 amended

(1)	In Schedule 1 Form 1 note 15 delete “(Fair Trading (Retirement Villages
Interim Code) Regulations (No. 2) 2018” and insert:
(Fair Trading (Retirement Villages Interim Code) Regulations 2019
(2)	In Schedule 1 Form 1 delete note 17 and insert:
17. Provided under the Fair Trading (Retirement Villages Interim Code) Regulations 2019 Schedule 1 clause 19(1)(a) or, for the financial year ending on 30 June 2018, provided under the Fair Trading (Retirement Villages Interim Code) Regulations (No. 2) 2018 Schedule 1 clause 19(1)(a) or the Fair Trading (Retirement Villages Interim Code) Regulations 2018 Schedule 1 clause 19(1)(a).
(3)	In Schedule 1 Form 1 note 19 delete “Fair Trading (Retirement Villages
Interim Code) Regulations (No. 2) 2018” and insert:
Fair Trading (Retirement Villages Interim Code) Regulations 2019

6.             Schedule 1 Form 1A amended

In Schedule 1 Form 1A delete note 10 and insert:

10. Provided under the Fair Trading (Retirement Villages Interim Code) Regulations 2019 Schedule 1 clause 19(1)(a) or, for the financial year ending on 30 June 2018, provided under the Fair Trading (Retirement Villages Interim Code) Regulations (No. 2) 2018 Schedule 1 clause 19(1)(a) or the Fair Trading (Retirement Villages Interim Code) Regulations 2018 Schedule 1 clause 19(1)(a).
