His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Retirement Villages Act 1999.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to prescribe the time within which, and the manner in which, applications to the Residential Tribunal are to be made under section 30 of the Retirement Villages Act 1999.
This Regulation is made under the Retirement Villages Act 1999 and, in
particular, under section 203 (the general regulation-making power).
This Regulation comprises matter of a machinery nature.

Tribunal) Regulation 2000
1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Retirement Villages (Applications to
Residential Tribunal) Regulation 2000.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 31 March 2000.
3 Notes
The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.
4 Applications to Tribunal
(1) An application to the Tribunal under section 30 of the Retirement
Villages Act 1999 may be made at any time.(2)
Any such application is to be made in accordance with clauses 18 and 19 (clause 19 (3) and (4) excepted) of the Residential Tribunal Regulation 1999.
(3) For the purposes of this clause:
(a)
a reference in clause 19 of the Residential Tribunal Regulation 1999 to the Retirement Villages Act 1989 is taken to include a reference to the Retirement Villages Act 1999, and
(b)
a reference in clause 19 of the Residential Tribunal Regulation 1999 to an administering authority is taken to include a reference to an operator.
