Retirement Villages Act 1999 No New South Wales

81—Proclamation

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Retirement Villages Act 1999, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 31 March 2000 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:
(a) sections 29 (section 29 (3) excepted), 30 and 204,
(b) Schedule 2 [3]–[5] and [8],

(c) clause 3 of Schedule 4.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain provisions of the Retirement Villages Act 1999 relating to village contracts and the provisions that establish the Retirement Villages Advisory Council.
