I, PHILIP MICHAEL JEFFERY, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Retirement Savings Accounts Act 1997.

1Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Retirement Savings Accounts Amendment Regulations 2004 (No. 4).

2Commencement

These Regulations are taken to have commenced on 1 July 2004.

3Amendment of Retirement Savings Accounts Regulations 1997

Schedule 1 amends the Retirement Savings Accounts Regulations 1997.

Schedule 1Amendment

(regulation 3)

[1]Paragraph 4.24 (1) (c)

substitute

  1. (c)

    the RSA holder has reached age 75, and the RSA holder’s 75th birthday occurs on or after 1 July 2004;
