Retirement Benefits Amendment Regulations 2013

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Retirement Benefits Act 1993 .4 March 2013

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Retirement Benefits Amendment Regulations 2013 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Retirement Benefits Regulations 2005 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 56 amended (Supplemental lump sum benefit payable in certain cases) Regulation 56(6) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "1 January and 1 July" and substituting "1 March and 1 September". 5Regulation 67 amended (Establishment of compulsory preservation accounts) Regulation 67(4) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "1 January and 1 July" and substituting "1 March and 1 September".
