His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Retail Leases Act 1994.

The object of this Regulation is to change a cross-reference to a section of the Retail Leases Act 1994 in the Retail Leases (Sydney Airport) Regulation 1999. The change is consequential on a change to the position of the section in the Act made by the Retail Leases Amendment Act 1998.

This Regulation is made under the Retail Leases Act 1994, including section
85 (the general regulation-making power).

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 March 1999.

3 Amendment of Retail Leases (Sydney egulation 1999

The Retail Lenses (Sydney Airport) Regulation 1999 is amended as set out in Schedule l .

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

1. Clause 10 Other lease exemptions Insert after the matter relating to section 34:

section 34A (Relocation), except paragraph (f)

Omit “sections 57 ( f ) (relating to payment of the lessee’s reasonable
costs of relocation) and”.
Insert instead “section”.
