Residential Tribunal Act 1998 No 168 - Proclamation

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Residential Tribunal Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint l March 1999 as the day on which that Act (except Schedule 4.5 [6], in so far as it repeals section 83 (3) of the Residential Tenancies Act 1987) commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Proclamation commences the Residential Tribunal Act 1998, except for a provision that provides for the repeal of a provision conferring jurisdiction for the adjudication of disputes relating to rental bonds.
