Residential Tenancies Amendment

(Bronte House) Regulation 2007

Residential Tenancies Act 1987

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Residential Tenancies Act 1987.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Residential Tenancies Regulation 2006 to provide that the premises known as “Bronte House” at 470 Bronte Road, Bronte and the surrounding lands (being Lot 1, DP 123571 and Lot 8, DP 15134) are exempted from the operation of the Residential Tenancies Act 1987.

This Regulation is made under the Residential Tenancies Act 1987, including section 133 (the general regulation-making power).

Regulation 2007

Residential Tenancies Act 1987

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Residential Tenancies Amendment (Bronte
House) Regulation 2007.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 31 January 2008.

3 Amendment of Residential Tenancies Regulation 2006

The Residential Tenancies Regulation 2006 is amended by inserting the following after clause 26:

27      Bronte House, Bronte

The premises known as “Bronte House” at 470 Bronte Road, Bronte and the surrounding lands (being Lot 1, DP 123571 and Lot 8, DP 15134) are exempted from the operation of the Act.
