Residential Tenancies Amendment Act 2024 Commencement Proclamation 2024

Made under the Residential Tenancies Amendment Act 2024 section 2(b) by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

This proclamation is the Residential Tenancies Amendment Act 2024 Commencement Proclamation 2024.

2.Commencement

The following provisions of the Residential Tenancies Amendment Act 2024 come into operation on the day after the day on which this proclamation is published on the WA legislation website —

  • (a)

    Part 2 (but only sections 3 to 10, 17, 19 to 23, 24(1), 32, 34, 36, 44, 45 and 47 to 55);

  • (b)

    Part 3 (other than section 63).
