Residential Services (Accreditation) (Exclusion of Retirement Villages) Amendment Regulation 2022 (Qld)

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Residential Services (Accreditation) (Exclusion of Retirement Villages) Amendment Regulation 2022.

2   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Residential Services (Accreditation) Regulation 2018.

3   Insertion of new pt 5, div 3

Part 5—
insert—

Division 3 Transitional provision for Residential Services (Accreditation) (Exclusion of Retirement Villages) Amendment Regulation 2022

16   Retirement village schemes are not residential services until 30 June 2025—Act, s 4

(1)For section 4(5)(n) of the Act, a retirement village scheme is not a residential service during the period starting on 1 September 2022 and ending at the end of the day on 30 June 2025.

(2)This section applies despite section 4(3).
