(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Residential Parks Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint:

(a) 1 March 1999 as the day on which that Act (except sections 37 (3), 38 (3) (b), 66 and 68 and Schedule 2 [24] and Schedule 3.4 [2], to the extent to which it inserts Schedule 4.4A [4] and [5] in the Residential Tribunal Act 1998) commences, and
(b) l June 1999 as the day on which sections 37 (3), 38 (3) (b), 66 and 68

of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Residential Parks Act 1998, with

the exception of certain minor amendments consequent on the enactment of the

Residential Tribunal Act 1998. The commencement of 37 (3), 38 (3) (b) (which specify
the details which electricity and water accounts must contain), and of sections 66 (Park

Liaison Committees) and 68 (Notice Boards), is postponed by 3 months.
