1  Name of principle

This principle is the Residential Care Subsidy Amendment (Workforce Supplement) Principle 2013.

2  Commencement

This principle commences on the day after it is registered.

3  Authority

This principle is made under the Aged Care Act 1997.

4  Schedule(s)

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Residential Care Subsidy Principles 1997

1  After subsection 21.26JB(1)

Add:

(1A)  An application must not be made under subsection (1) after 26 September 2013.

2  After subsection 21.26JC(1)

Add:

(1A)  However, the Secretary must not make a determination in relation to an approved provider under subsection (1) in respect of an application received after 26 September 2013.
