I, MARK BUTLER, Minister for Mental Health and Ageing, make these Principles under subsection 96-1 (1) of the Aged Care Act 1997.

  1. Name of Principles

These Principles are the Residential Care Subsidy Amendment Principles  2011 (No. 1).

  1. Commencement

These Principles commence on the commencement of the Accreditation Grant Principles 2011.

  1. Amendment of Residential Care Subsidy Principles 1997

Schedule 1 amends the Residential Care Subsidy Principles 1997.

Schedule 1        Amendments

(section 3)

[1]           Subsection 21.3B (1), definition of accreditation application

substitute

accreditation application means an application to the accreditation body, under subsection 2.9 (2) of the Accreditation Grant Principles 2011, by the approved provider of a residential care service for re-accreditation of the service.

[2]           Subsection 21.3B (5)

omit

section 2.5 of the Accreditation Grant Principles 1999.

insert

subsection 2.10 (1) of the Accreditation Grant Principles 2011.
