No. 50 of 1940.

AN ACT relating to Reserve A1149.

[Assented to 30th December, 1940.1

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Reserves (Govern- Short title

ment Domain) Act, 1940.

2.    All thatpiece of land, being portion of reserve Meg!

A1149, in the city of Perth, described in the Schedule to this Act, and as to one part thereof shown bordered green, and as to the other part thereof shown coloured red on the plan in such Schedule, is hereby excised from the said reserve to the intent that

(a) that part of the land excised as aforesaid, which is shown bordered green on the plan in the said Schedule, shall be set apart as a class A reserve for public buildings (departmental offices) ; and

(b) that part of the land excised as aforesaid, which is shown coloured red on the plan in the said Schedule, shall be set apart as a class A reserve for a public road and be proclaimed as such.

SCHEDULE.

All that portion of land, containing eight acres, comprised in Perth town lot S36, as shown on Lands and Surveys diagram 60871 and bounded by lines starting from a point on the southern alignment of Saint George's terrace situate 291 degrees 19 minutes 3 chains 31-8/10ths links from the intersection of the said alignment with the western alignment of Victoria avenue and extending 200 degrees 54 minutes 9 chains; thence 290 degrees 58 minutes 8 chains 89-6/10ths links; thence 21 degrees 0 minutes 9 chains 0-5/10ths links to the said southern alignment of Saint George's terrace; and thence 111 degrees 0 minutes 8 chains 88 links along the said alignment to the starting point.
