AN ACT relating to certain Reserves.

[Assented to 23rd December, 1929.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byCouncil and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, inand with the advice and consent of the Legislative

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows:—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Reserves Act (No. 2), 1929.

Reserve° A1720 and

2. That portion of reserve A1720 (King's Park) described in Part 1 of the First Schedule hereto, and that portion of reserve A3495 (Observatory site) described in Part 2 of the schedule hereto, are excised from the said reserves, for the purpose of additions to King's Park road.

Quairading.

3. Quairading Lot 189 (Reserve 148764) may be granted to the Quairading Road Board for an estate in fee simple; and the Board is authorised to sell the said land and transfer the same to the purchaser freed and discharged from any trust: Provided that the proceeds of sale shall be applied to the building of a hall and road board offices on another site.

Geraldton.

4. It shall be lawful for the Trustees of Geraldton Lodge No. 321, United Ancient Order of Druids, to surrender to His Majesty the King that portion of Geraldton Lot 745 (Reserve No. 14785) described in the Second Schedule hereto, such lot being held by the said trustees under lease for nine hundred and ninety-nine years dated the 22nd day of October, 1901: Provided that, on a sale of any portion thereof under Part IV. of the Land Act, 1898, the amount realised for the improve- ments thereon shall be payable to the said trustees and ap- plied by them to the improvement of lot 796 and the unsur-

rendered portion of the said lot 745.

5. That portion of Reserve A1720 (King's Park), described Relerve A1720.

in the Third Schedule hereto, is excised from the said reserve for the purpose of additions to Ferdinand and Thomas streets.

All that portion of Reserve A1720 bounded by lines starting from a point on the south-western alignment of Bellevue terrace situated 435 links 336deg. 48min. from the production south-westerly of the north-western alignment of Mount street; thence south-westerly 105 links by a circular arc, radius 45.5 links bearing 246deg. 48min. from the tangent point; thence westerly 543.8 links by a circular are, radius 227.3 links hearing 294deg. 32min. from the common tangent point; thence north-westerly 80.3 links by a circular arc, radius 90.9 links hearing 251deg. 37min. from the common tangent point; thence 290deg. 58min. 5,088.8 links; thence westerly 231 links by a circular arc, radius 200 links bearing 200deg. 58min. from the tangent point to the south-eastern alignment of Thomas street; thence north-easterly along the latter alignment to its intersection with the southern alignment of King's Park road; thence easterly along the latter alignment to the starting point. (2 acres 3 roods 2 7/10th perches from Reserve A1720.)

All that portion of Reserve A3495 bounded by lines starting from a point on the northern alignment of King's Park road situated 568.8 links 110deg. 58min. from the production southerly of the eastern alignment of Havelock street; thence Easterly 106.8 links by a circular arc, radius 90.9 links bearing 20deg. 58min. from the tangent point; thence easterly 360.4 links by a circular arc, radius 227.3 links bearing 133deg. 37min. from the common tangent point; thence easterly 107.2 links by a circular arc, radius 90.9 links bearing 44deg. 29min. from the common tangent point to the north-western alignment of Malcolm street, and thence south-westerly and westerly along said alignment and the northern alignment of King's Park road aforesaid to the starting point. (1 rood 28 7/10th perches from Reserve A3495.)

All that portion of Heraklion Townsite lot 745 bounded by tines starting from the eastern corner of said lot and extending 215deg. 43min. 60.6 links; thence 305deg. 43min. 15.1 links; thence 35deg. 43min. 42.4 links; thence 305deg. 43min. 84.9 links; thence 215deg. 43min. 181.8 links; thence 305deg. 43min. 100 links; thence 35deg. 43min. 200 links; and thence 125deg. 43min. 200 links to the starting point.
