AN ACT relating to certain Reserves.

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of
the same, as follows :—

Reserve 18098,
Victoria Location 7864 (Reserve £18098) leased for a term of 999 years to the trustees of the Victoria District Turf Club for the purpose of a racecourse, may, with the approval of the Governor, be sublet by the said trustees to the Geraldton Golf Club, at such rent and subject to such conditions as the Governor may think fit and approve.

Avon Location
That portion of Avon Location 449, leased for a term of ninety-nine years to Bernard Drummond Clarkson, Bernard Connor, and John Hugh Phillips for the purposes of the Newcastle Racecourse, situate North-Westward of Road No. 6548 shall, by virtue of this Act, be deemed to have been surrendered by the lessees to the Crown, and may be granted for an estate in fee simple to the owner of Avon Location 897 in exchange for about two acres of that location which are now enclosed as part of the racecourse, and on which the grandstand is erected. The land so acquired by the Crown in exchange may be included in the lease of the racecourse.

The Marble Bar Road Board may, with the approval of the Governor, lease Reserve £2906 (Common) or part thereof for a term not exceeding twenty-one years for pastoral purposes, at such rent and subject to such con- ditions as the Governor may think fit and approve.
