AN ACT relating to Reserve "B" 5576.

[Assented to 9th October, 1941.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Reserves Act (No. 1), Short 11th.

Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary Reserve

"B" 5576.

contained in the Public Buildings Act, 1937—

(a)

that portion of reserve "B" 5576 described in the First Schedule to this Act is hereby excluded from such reserve to the intent that it shall be dedicated under the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1906-1940, as an addition to Irwin street, Perth;

(b)

that portion of reserve "B" 5576 described in the Second Schedule to this Act is hereby excluded from such reserve to the intent that the same may be dealt with in the manner provided in section three of this Act;

(c)

the right-of-way (15 1/10 links in width) in the said reserve "B" 5576 along the eastern boun- dary of Perth lot 653 (the site of Anzac House) is hereby closed and the land com- prised therein is excluded from the said reserve to the intent that the land comprised therein may be dealt with in the manner pro- vided in section three of this Act, and all rights-of-way over the same shall cease on the passing of this Act.

The lands mentioned in paragraphs (b) and (c) from reserve "B" 5576 aforesaid, and now surveyed and shown as lot 743 on diagram 50091, may be set apart as a reserve for an extension of the site for the headquarters build- ings of the Returned Sailors', Soldiers' and Airmen's Imperial League of Australia, W.A. Branch Incorporated, and the Crown grant for an estate in fee sim ple of such reserve may be issued under section thirty-three of the Laud Act, 1933-1939, to the said Returned Sailors', Soldiers' and Airmen's Imperial League of Australia, W.A. Branch Incorporated.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

All that portion of land bounded by lines starting from the junction of the southern alignment of Hay street with the western alignment of Irwin street in the Perth municipality, and extending 200' 39' 5 chains GO 4/10 links along the latter alignment to the northern alignment of Saint George's terrace; thence 290° 59' 29 links along the said alignment of the terrace; thence 65° 49' 21 1/10 links; thence 20° :18' 5 chains 30 4/10 links; thence 335° 52' 21 3/10 links to the southern alignment of Hay street aforesaid, and thence 111° 5' 29 1/10 links along the last-mentioned alignment to the starting point.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

All that portion of land bounded by lines starting from a point on

the northern alignment of Saint George's terrace situate 290° 59' 29

links from the junction of the said alignment with the western align-

ment of Irwin street and extending 290° 59' 77 6/10 links along the said alignment of the terrace; thence 21° 34' 2 chains 12 1/10 links; thence 110° 59' 89 2/10 links; thence 200° 38' 1 chain 97 1/10 links, and thence 245° 49' 21 1/10 links to the starting point.

All bearings are true or thereabouts, and measurements more or

less.
